Job Opening: Azure .NET Developer

At Cloudway, we are always developing new solutions for projects and consulting in the public cloud. We very often use the Serverless paradigm where appropriate to place much of the responsibility on the cloud provider, making it easier to build highly available and performing application. 

Our projects and customers are mainly active in the manufacturing, automotive, financial and medical sectors. 

Both migrations to cloud native public cloud and green field projects in which IOT, API and data platform development is central are part of our activities. In terms of region in Belgium, the triangle Antwerp - Brussels - Ghent is very important to us. We often work together with large international customers with an important department in the Benelux.

To grow together we are looking for an experienced Azure C#/.NET developer.

Who are you?

You have several years of experience developing C#/.NET applications. You also have experience in or the ambition to learn application development using services of the public cloud. You have at least a basic understanding of the Serverless paradigm and Infrastructure as Code and like working with these tools and services.

You are interested in going further than only development. You have a healthy interest for solution architectures and DevOps practices like CI/CD.

You have several years of experience with C#/.NET and you have experience or would like to learn Node.js.
During your years developing applications, you have gained experience with coding best practices including application architecture and test driven development (TDD).
You have experience in working with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
You have experience and/or an interest in Microsoft Azure with a focus on:

  • Function apps
  • CosmosDB
  • IoT hub
  • Event grid
  • API Management
  • Service bus
  • App services
  • Azure storage

    You are known by your colleagues as someone who likes to give and receive advice.

    Language skills are also important, we expect your knowledge of Dutch and English to be very good. Basic knowledge of French is a nice-to-have.
